ISMD 2026 Abstract Submission Guide

  • For submitting an abstract to ISMD2026, please use this template (DOWNLOAD) and note the steps outlined below:
  • Provide your abstract title and general abstract information as outlined in the template (DOWNLOAD).
  • Please do not forget to underline the presenting / contact author.
  • When entering the body of your abstract, please complete all sections (Background, Objectives, Materials and methods, Results and Conclusions).
  • The body of your abstract must not exceed 250 words.
  • Please mail your abstract to ismd@oeglmkc.at and indicate whether you would like your work to be considered for oral or poster presentation.
  • Please note that the best three scientific abstracts will be awarded.

    • Best Poster Awards

    The ISMD2026 Best Poster Awards are sponsored by the Austrian Society of Laboratory Medicine and Clinical Chemistry. These awards are given to the three best posters presented at ISMD2026. It rewards a combination of excellent research, innovation, and presentation. A panel of judges will select the best three posters. The winners will be recognized publicly and receive a certificate and monetary award.
