ISMD 2026 Abstract Submission Guide

  • For submitting an abstract to ISMD2026, please use this template (DOWNLOAD)
    and note the steps outlined below.
  • Provide your abstract title and general abstract information as outlined
    in the template (DOWNLOAD).
  • Underline the presenting/contact author.
  • When entering the body of your abstract, complete all sections:
    Background, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
  • The body of your abstract must not exceed 250 words.
  • Email your abstract to ismd@oeglmkc.at
  • Please note that the best three scientific abstracts will be awarded.

    Best Poster Awards

    The ISMD2026 Best Poster Awards are sponsored by the Austrian Society of Laboratory Medicine and Clinical Chemistry. These awards recognize the three best posters presented at ISMD2026. They reward a combination of excellent research, innovation, and presentation. A panel of judges will select the top three posters. The winners will be publicly recognized and receive a certificate and a monetary award.
